- (1) to provide maps of infestations to land managers and weed groups for control projects, (2) to identify areas where noxious weeds jeopardize Threatened and Endangered fish and wildlife species as well as various habitats, (3) having a baseline assessment allows local, state and federal agencies to provide State policy makers with essential infestation rate information and lastly (4), monitor State control efforts.
