| The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) invites you to participate in the Expanding Horizon workshops, co-hosted by MBDA and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). In 2006, the Expanding Horizons workshop will be held in Atlanta on September 28th, in Chicago on October 12th and in Los Angeles on November 16th to inform minority entrepreneurs about government programs available to support overseas investment in developing countries. MBDA knows that minority and women-owned small businesses face unique challenges that prevent their businesses from expanding overseas. That’s why we are co-hosting these events with OPIC to address the knowledge gap around government programs available to secure private capital and to address the political concerns abroad. Senior government officials, international bankers, and representatives from businesses investing overseas will share their insights and experiences. MBDA encourages more minority entrepreneurs to enter the global marketplace to gain a competitive edge. Companies interested in the workshops can register and learn more at www.trademeetings.com. |
