The Los Angeles Fire Department's simulation of the violent explosion that would be caused by a fire bomb similar to the one used by animal rights extremists in this case.

How would you like to find a fire bomb on your doorstep, even if it turns out that: 1) The device was probably intended for your neighbor, and 2) It was left by activists who claim to be protecting animals?

You would probably feel stunned and upset—like the elderly Southern California woman who this happened to in June. Particularly when she learned that the fire bomb could have killed her and her tenant had it ignited properly.

Now, we’re looking for the culprits…and offering a reward of up to $30,000 for information leading to their arrest and conviction

On July 11, an animal rights website claimed that the Animal Liberation Front, or ALF, was responsible for the attack. The woman’s home is in a neighborhood that has been the subject of protests by animal rights/eco-terrorists…and real target was probably one of her neighbors. Authorities believe that that had the fire bomb attack worked as planned it could have easily spread and caused widespread destruction in the area.

If you have any information about this crime, please contact us or your local law enforcement agency immediately. Our office in Los Angeles, which is handling the case, can be reached 24/7 by calling (310) 477-6565.

Do animal rights and eco-terrorists really pose that much of a threat to our society? Absolutely.

  • They cause millions of dollars in damages a year to businesses and universities by firebombing and vandalizing property;
  • They harass and threaten scientists, academics, business owners, and other professionals whose work lays the foundation of our economy;
  • They incite violence and crime—even among our nation’s youth—through their websites; and
  • Now, they’re even launching attacks that could take lives—including this elderly woman targeted by mistake or the real intended victim.

So please help us find the person or persons responsible for this crime. And help us find other domestic terrorists by visiting our Wanted by the FBI webpage on Domestic Terrorism.

Note: The individuals identified here may have been apprehended or may no longer be wanted by law enforcement since the above information was posted on this website. Please check our Wanted by the FBI website or contact your local FBI office for up-to-date information.
