NAMM FREIGHT PROGRAM SAVES MEMBERS 62 PERCENT ON SHIPPING
CARLSBAD, Calif., January 12, 2006 - NAMM and PartnerShip, the association's endorsed service provider for freight, have negotiated an even greater discount on shipping for NAMM Members this year. The new 62 percent discount is available through Yellow Transportation and Overnite Transportation effective January 2, 2006.
We made a conscious effort to reward NAMM Members for their continued loyalty to the NAMM Freight Program by negotiating deeper discounts with two very well established and reputable companies in the freight shipping industry, said Judy Dodds, NAMM Director of Membership Services. This clearly shows that the strength of the NAMM Freight Program has grown. Some dealers are experiencing flat sales, and shipping costs have become a very important factor in maintaining profitability.
For information on the new freight discounts, interested Members can contact PartnerShip at 800-599-2902 or
