The City of Corona recently received numerous inquiries from Citizens nationwide regarding a letter they received in the mail. The letter claims to be from the City of Corona and is accompanied by a fictitious City of Corona check and leads the recipient to believe that they have won a certain dollar amount from the "Fortune 500 Prize Pool".
The City of Corona would like to inform recipients that these checks are fictitious and part of a nationwide scam. Please do not respond or act on any representations in the letter.
